Wildlands CPR was formed in 1994 as a national clearinghouse and network, created by a core group of sixteen organizations concerned about the dramatic ecological impacts of wildland roads on public lands. Led by a staff of experienced conservationists, Wildlands CPR has always worked in collaboration with other groups, and takes pride in its strong commitment to listening, dialogue, and the ability to work with diverse constituents.
Wildlands CPR believes, first, in protecting our last roadless areas. We also support putting people to work restoring our natural areas, as right now our backcountry, fish, wildlife and water are threatened by more roads than we need or can afford to maintain.
In addition, a vocal minority of off-road vehicle users are driving all over our public lands. Our natural landscapes are becoming increasingly crowded, noisy places, limiting our freedom to enjoy the peace and quiet that make our public lands special.
We can restore balance, save money, and create jobs by restoring unneeded forest roads to their natural state, and by ensuring that public land managers effectively control and manage off-road vehicles.

Oh, it's amazing... If you read through their propaganda and you care about our sport at all, you can't help but get a bit emotional or at least feel sorry for 'those' people. Some of the staff spew so much hate and discontent for us and our way of life it's scarry. By the way, of of their staffers lives in a trailer along those cave dwellings in Moab that we drive by every year. Interesting.

I really feel sorry for anyone who got soooo f**ked up somewhere down the line that there life is so miserable that they have made it there goal to attempt to bring that misery and hate upon others. the only thing that makes them different than the postal employee that guns down his coworkers is that they are chickenshit cowards, thats what scares me!! i'd rather them try takin popshots at me on the trail, at least then i'd have the ability to see the face of my attacker and fight back. the battle we fight now is a lot tougher. we dont see there face, it's hidden behind legislation and lawers, and we all know who wins those battles, the people who are rich and "IN". thank god that most of these people have decided that the world is overpopulated enough, because we really dont need to have them breeding there hate. in my opinion these people rate right up there with the white supremists(uneducated, hatefull white trash)!!
