Title: Haunted by my old truck
Post by: Crabzuki on November 13, 2004, 12:58:07 AM
A while back I sold my truck to a lady friend in Florida who in turn hooked me up with a buisness associate of hers to build her a truck brand new everything. I finished her truck and sent it to her via transport and she's a happy customer. Now here's the haunting part of this story, it appears my son bought my old truck from the gal in Florida and half-assed pirated the anvil and replaced it with a stock front end and forgetting that the rear was a  5.83:1 also. After sometime figuring he couldn't get it to work he gave up and then dumped the truck off at my house and said I could have the dam thing that he was tired of trying to figure it out. I told him what he did wrong and his reply was at this point he didn't care that he just wanted to recoup some of his losses because his wife was breathing hard down his back. So being the good samaritain that I am I bought the truck back from him for 8K . Now it's in my shop and I'm replacing the head gasket and leaving the rest as is (front gears & stock axle housing) and when I'm done I'll put it on eBay for 8K. So what are my chances of seeing this truck again like after eBay? Hopefully never again.  ::)

Most definately. You've angered the Zuk gods with the sale of your Sidekick.
