Title: Twin stick boot
Post by: bentparts on November 20, 2007, 05:10:55 PM
Anyone know how to get ahold of " Rockrat " ?  I'm getting a Tracker Tcase with Calmini low range gears and a twin stick from Stan, aka 37 kicker, and I'd like to get one of his twin stick boots.

http://www.rock4xfabrication.com/ has the boots. They need a minor mod and Stan can tell you what to do.

I currently dont have them listed on my site.. we were out of stock. I do however now have all the parts and have been putting them together a the time of order. Takes about an hr. And I should know with in the next week or so if our entire unit will work in the Kick case.

Currie sells a top boot for a dana 30 type twin stick. That might help instead of the tape and newspaper.

Checked out that Currie boot, looks pretty good, it may work. If your interested CJ it's listed under their Jeep parts section, sorry for not linking it.  I went ahead and orderd one, there only $25, and I'm pretty sure I can make it work, I may have to make up a new mounting plate for it, that's all.

Most guys are using the Dana 300 and or Dana 20 Twinstick boots for the interior..

I was aware of the Dana 300 boot but wasn't sure if it would work. It appears that all the twinstick boots out there are actually the same one so I suppose I'll just get one from somewhere that'll post to Australia and try it out. It would be nice to know that it will do the job first though.
