Just a few quick questions. I bought a 1990 Zuk two days ago and it is going to be my Road Zuk. I am wondering if a weber carb will bolt up to the stock intake manifold. The Zuk has the stock fuel injection set up on it right now, but I am wanting to swap to a Weber carb. I know I will need a low pressure fuel pump to. Lastly, can I just totally eliminate the computer by using a carb? Thanks for any help

Why not keep the injection?

What model is it? Sidekick, samurai? I wouldn't even think of pulling fuel injection for a weber unless the fuel injection was pretty jacked up. I believe they are different manifolds but not sure. I've got a hitachi carbed samurai but I'm putting the Petroworks Harley carb on. I've heard people yank their fuel injection for this setup but not for a weber unless maybe it was for dual side drafts or something insane. My carb should be here early next week so I'll post how it turns out. There are a few carb options out there. If you do, keep your fuel injection stuff all together and sell it as a kit. Someone in a smog state or elsewhere would like to buy it to get rid of their carb and the problems associated with them. ;D
I can't believe 26 people up to this point veiwed your topic and only 1 responded. Fuel injection to a weber has got to be pretty rare.

I've had both kinda zuks. FI is way better. The one I use for off-roading now with the 37s,gears and all is a stock carb with a NAPA inline pressure regulator, and NAPA electronic fuel pump. I haven't had probs with the stock carb so I just left it. As you can see it runs fine at all angles. If it came stock with FI I would have left it FI definatly!

I believe that the carb will fit on the injection manifold but the injection manifold has a round hole rather than the two ports that the carb manifold has. If you do junk the throttle body you will still have to retain the ECU to run the ignition unless you fit an ignition from a Sammy or a carb 1.6 (not sold in US!).
