Title: Door locks and Running lightss

Bought an `03 Tracker to go with our `97.
The ZR2 is loaded with a couple of featrures that to me are a PITA
When you shut the door, they automatically lock up.
On the `97, you can idle and pull up on the e-brake to shut off the running lights. Not so on the `03.
Has anyone disconnected these options and if so how is it done?

My '03 Tracker never automatically locked the doors on me, and neither does the '02 XL-7.  Maybe that's a US 4-dr thing.

The headlight/ebrake deal still works the same way, but only if the daylight sensor hasn't already decided for you that your lights should be on.  I think you can just disconnect the sensor (dashboard at base of windshield by A-piller) and be done with it.
