Title: Going down from 16 inch to 15 inch tires
Post by: thcrw739 on November 24, 2007, 03:49:35 PM
I need some winter tires for the 1997 sidekick sport i recently aquired & i found a deal on 5 snow tires with sidekick rims for $100

Now according to a calc i used theres only a 0.2 % diffrence on the on speed between my 16" 215/65-16's and these 205/75/-15's that are for sale...

My question is there any other differences,  or should i be good to go?

Thanks

i do beleive the sport model has larger brakes which would be the reason for the larger stock wheels. so the 15 " might not fit. the only way to be sure would be to try one out

I know for a fact 15" rims will not work on the Sport. Found out the hard way!! :(
