I have a 90 TBI 1.6 L that I have turbo charged to about 5 psi. It is running lean under boost, with a clean O2 sensor. Whats the best way to increase fuel output? Hi flow injectors? Fuel pressure?
Any ideas or experience you can pass on is met with gratitude. NMc

There isn't an upgrade for the injector. You could change the fuel pressure regulator to increase the pressure. Ideally you need to fit an aftermarket ECU. PM Wildgoody, he has run a turbo'd TBI for a few years. He doesn't post much these days but he is still about.

Add extra injectors with a Hobbs switch. Then at the set boost of the hobbs switch the extra injectors will dump fuel. Not super efficient, but it works. AND far cheaper than new fuel managment system.

I did get some way towards remapping a stock 8V ECU but I don't have the earlier ECU to experiment on. Mine is from a year 2000 model (UK) with immobiliser and stepper motor EGR.
