I want to do a spoa on a 88 samy. using the stock springs to save money, does anyone no if you can put an add a leaf in as the stock springs are getting flattened out ???

just get an extra set of rear springs, pull off the main leafs, cut the round eyes off of each end, get rid of the sharp edges, put one on each side of the back of your rig just under the main leaf that you have now and put the clamps back on tight and keep the leaf that looks like an over load on the bottom, if they hits rocks turn them around and cut off a couple of inches from them in the front.

I added a second leaf to keep my front end up, the same one mentioned below. If you don't have a pair of extra springs laying around just give Hawk Suzuki a call and tell them which spring you want. They gave me a good deal on the second spring in the spring pack as they don't use them for Add-A-Leaf kits. Having your existing springs Re-Arched is another solution you might look at.
If your front springs are flat, not negative arch, then I say leave them unless you need the extra height for your tires.
