Title: Weber 34/34
Post by: sanjuansheriff on November 26, 2007, 05:32:30 PM
Hello,
I am new here but old to Samurai's (21 years) My old rig is in need of a new Carburetor and I've always thought that I would upgrade to a Weber when the times comes. Is the 34/34 as strong as the other Weber's? ($249 vs. $394 eBay). Also what would be better in your opinion....electric,H20 or manual choke (I live at sea level).

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dennis

Side draft or EFI, i havnt heard very many good things about the webers.
Seems most people say there a grunt to tune.

Can be tricky to tune, but an excellent performer when proper.EFI is the way to ,and it is not that difficult or expensive, especially since the parts required for the swap can be found used at affordable prices.Wiring can be a little tricky but not as bad as some people make it out to be.
