well i just put in new plugs and a new air filter, what a difference! the old plugs were way out of gap lol
-
i also would like to know where you got an exhaust for $40.00 and the one for a $110.00 installed............ ???

that is so common ... I just don't get it, someone changes plugs and doesn't check the gap ??? (I guess they assume the parts guy at schmuck auto set them ??? ) ...
Some "tunerz" will play with gap outta spec to get a "hottter" spark. That's fine I guess, but 99% of the cases wher I pull plugs from some engine and they're outta spec it's cuz some PO didn't CHECK

Who still uses plug with gaps ? I thought I was the old tech guy in here. :o

I myself am going to do a major tune up in the next 30 days or so. I'm planning a little road trip in the second last week of July to Buffalo NY and London ON and I want my Sidekick in tip top shape.
I'm getting the AT fluid & filter changed, new fuel filter, new cap/rotor, clean my K&N air filter and I'm going try out the the BOSCH 4 prong spark plugs.
I don't know how to gap spark plugs and you don't have to for the 2 and 4 prong plugs. They come pre-gaped.

Clean all of your battery terminals and connections.
Good grounds and no corrision will ensure quick starting and properly running engine electronics.

Hey Flames, you're coming to my neck of the woods!! Are you coming to wheel, or for some other less important activities?
