I have a 1986 suzuki samurai. I am looking at getting 5.38 gears out of an 1989 suzuki sidekick. it is the third members front and rear. will they bolt in directly or do i have to do anything special?? reply or call me at 3214363265 thanks bruce

Only the front R&P will fit and you are going to want to move the R&P to your carrier and housing. The Sidekick is aluminum and only has a 2 pinion carrier.

I think that is why he posed the question. I checked those out too, but to go from 5.12's to 5.38's didn't seem worth the money, time and effort in my rig.
