Title: Sami to Tracker

Has anyone ever taken motor and drivetrain out of a sami and put in a Sidekick? I've got a 95 Sidekick with blown engine and 2wd, and a 86 Sami with a totaled body. Any way this would work?

It can be made to work, The intake and exhaust will bolt up. The two things which are iffy are the motor mounts and the bell housing. I think you would be better off selling the 1.3 and buying the 1.6 that you need. Folks behind you at the stop lights will appreciate it too.

How totaled is that Sammy?

The frame straight?

The sidekick a 2dr?

If so, there ya go....
