he is correct the front bumper as well as pretty much everything else is from Trail Tough. in my book it's a really nice bumper for the $$$. when i built this rig i was gonna fab up bumpers and such, but brents stuff flowed togeather real nice.

Wish I would have went TrailSlayer too, now I'll wait for a 4 door for that.
-
Thats what I want to do as well now. A 4 door Side Kick Sport. But I was told the kit won't fit! Still If needed I figure it may be poss. to do a little cutting & adding to the Trail Slayer. Here is a picture of what inspired me to build a X90. But now I want to take the kids along & the X is a two seater. Is that why you want to build a 4door?

what do you have the scrolling words say? #1. Forget world peace, try visualizing using your turn signals.#2. If god is your co pilot, he must be scared shitless. #3. Drive right, pass left dumbass! #4. Yeah, you got passed by a Geo Tracker! #5. Congradulations! your in the 99th Percentile,of IDIOT DRIVERS! #6. If you can read this, your about to be sued! There's a few more, all switched via a remote that looks something like a tv remote, The red button turns the sign on, I choose which one I want to scroll. The whole setup is about $30 bucks at any Pep boys. I'll see if I can get a video up of it running.

hehe... so wrong ;D... some people must get pissed atchu :P

We wanted to build longer a arms to get more travel but the struts are binding now with the Calmini. Did you come up with a mod for that & if so do you mind shairing a few pic's ::)
-
I added 3 inches on each side , yo can do more if you want , but yo need to reposition the upper strut mount more to the outside in order to keep alignment correct.
I can take some pictures for you if want.
Remember that CV axles need to be widened too , and steering components also , but it's not that hard to do.
cheers
-
Did you add onto the Calmini kit? We make/install "boxe'd" lower arms on our trucks (pic. of my 1992 Toyota 4X) If you used tubes, can you please take a few shot of them. Thanx
-
Hi Chilekick,
As many pics and if possible a write up on the mods would be awesome - looks VERY interesting >:D.
-
I didn't use tubes , or boxed A-arms , I simply used the original A-arms that come with Suzuki.
Worked on them and added a few inches. It can easily be done by the same method on the calmini A-arms
If you are still interested , I have no problem in doing some write up , and take some pics for you.
cheers

That would be great! Your truck looks trick, I am very interested in looking at how it was done.
-
Yeah come on Chilli - stop holding out on us LOL ;)
A write up would be great. BTW I checked out your web site but found it hard navigating because I can not read your language ???
You may want to start a new thread especially for this one >:D
-
sorry for the delay guys , I've been really busy at work. i'ts nice to know that someone is interested in my little mods.
As soon as I have some time I'll be taking pics and at least explaining how it was done.

sorry for the cellphone picture thats all I got.

Here's a quick pic I snapped the other day walkin' out to the truck to head to work. Had some snow flurries falling, but it was too warm for anything to stick. Just put a new coat of Herculiner on it, so I thought I'd snap a quick shot. I drive it daily during the winter, but in the summer, I drive my car more often. It doesn't go very far in the slick stuff... I'll post a pic of that too, just for shiggles.
94 Track/Kick
3" body lift
2" coil spacers
strut spacers (don't remember...1.5" maybe? LOL)
31x10.50 High-Tec-Retreading OTR Muds
15x8 steel "wagon wheels" LOL
(http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1174/newfk7.jpg)
Here's the car. It's a 92 Nissan 240sx. Not even gonna attempt a mod list for this one... HAH!

Here's my DD, will be retired to offroad only when my 5door Vitara is done.
-
here's my DD, gotta love and hate it. wish it were taller but will have to do as is now.
-
This was my DD until a couple years ago. When I started doing field work and carrying tools and a computer, I needed something that I could lock up. The Tracker was pretty much retired to recreational use, but its still pretty much stock.
Last summer we did a matching paint job on the Tracker and the camper.
I really don't know what I'm going to do with it other than drive it...
-
I'm driving a 93 Toy Paseo but my Tracker also serves the purpose sometimes.

Here is my baby, lil Suzy, she is an 89 Sidekick. She has been a good friend to me for over 16 years now. I bought her from her first owner in 1991, she had 30,000 on the OD. I started modifying her for off road in 1995. She originally had one of the first 2" kits Calmini sold. In fact it did not fit when I got it because someone at Calmini had mistakenly put one prototype axle hanger in my kit so the front axle hung crooked when everything was bolted in.
