Title: Pic or diagram of rear brakes?

I had a rear brake hangup problem, upon removing drums I found the brakes in near new condition but 2 parts feel out on each side, looks like the ajustment lock and spring, I have a haines manual but it is usless here, they don't show anything about a 99 Vitara. The one parts brakedown I found is not clear of how the part fits in.... HELP!!!!! :-\ :'(

I'm pretty sure these are photos of the XL-7's, but they're very similar.

Can't get to photobucket from here at work, so will attach smaller versions.  4 here, 3 in next post.

In the last one, I'd pulled the adjuster lever off its pivot and away, and the adjuster dropped down a little, too.  Was mainly documenting exactly where the bottom of that spring attached.
