The only info I know is that the tire are 39.5 swampers.(but I not sure) And you can watch it in action here:

I would really appreciate any info on this build as well I've been contemplating pretty much this same build using my Toyota axles. Right now, I'm hung up on finding out the manual and auto tranny gear ratios. http://www.suzuki-forums.com/suzuki-vitara-grand-vitara-xl-7/21494-xl-7-tech-advice-s-2.html (http://www.suzuki-forums.com/suzuki-vitara-grand-vitara-xl-7/21494-xl-7-tech-advice-s-2.html)

Just this morning I found a white I think 02 at my daughters daycare. I asked who drove it and they said "Chelsea, and she's selling it" so I'm really in a push to find out the info.

BTW: Looks great and......I want to build me one!

Just watched the video and they aint from 'round here.

Right now, I'm hung up on finding out the manual and auto tranny gear ratios.
The real question should be do you want to run t-case gears if so it's an auto you will need. Thier are no T-case gears for the man. trans  >:(

Thanks!!!
I've already got an IFS rear Toy axle and a widened front as well as another IFS toy steering box for the hysteer conversion.

Wonder what a  "super transfert case " is? Also...not really important...wonder why they used a birfield eliminator kit. Hmmmmm?

I was thinking more along the lines or 35 or 36's though as mine will be a semi daily driver.

Appreciate the help here guys!!!!

I'm not the best with toy axles but my understanding is that the birsfields are the weak pont in these axle.  How weak I don't know ???

As for the t-case you can go with toy and what ever gearing there are for them or stay zuk and go with 4:1 from Calmini or TrainTought if you have an auto.

I believe the birfield eliminator uses D44 yokes/joints and such.  Granted the eliminator is stronger than stock birfs but with some Longfield Superbirfs they can surpass the strength of the eliminator kit for quite a bit less $.

You saying the toy case bolts up to the Zuki tranny?? or what? Someone I don't know about make an adapter?
I have a spare 5speed as well but it's the older weaker one. I got plenty of Toyota parts, I just don't know what fits what (spline count and bolt patterns) and or what adapter brackets are available.

Thanks again for your help and direction. Much appreciated.

Looks like you shot me a winner with OTT industries. Nice products and exactly the kind of direction I needed a point to. Thank you!

Update: Finally got a hold of the girl at my daughters daycare. She wants me to just take over what she owes on it. I suspect it's close to 6k. White 02 V6 Auto 4X4

I should be getting the mileage, payoff, and vin from her via email the next few days. Buying one now would actually be 3-6 months ahead of my schedule but it may just work out. I'll keep yaul updated on weather or not I get this one.

With any luck, this will be my summer project.

OTT Kicker 2 is the easiest way to make Toy axles work well, as you end up with fixed flange instead of slip yokes, and gain an underdrive.

Thanks Yankee-Tim

Kicker 2: Taking the O.T.T.â„¢ original kickerâ„¢ concept to a new level this adapter adapts a Toyota transfer case directly to a modified sidekick low range box.

Kicker 4: For the Samurai or Sidekick owner who wishes to step up directly to the strength and adaptability of a toyota transfercase. This fully clockable adapter bolts between your Suzuki Sidekick manual or automatic transmission and is provided with all fasteners and a specially splined coupler.

So, I have 2 Toy t-cases. If I was to get the MC07 or MC08 doubling adapter from Marlin Crawler and the Kicker 4 from OTT Industries....I could mount a toy dual case set up directly behind the XL7 tranny??? If so, this would be ideal!

Link to dual Marlin Crawler Dual Case Options...http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/transfercase/pickup_dual.htm (http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/transfercase/pickup_dual.htm)

Thanks again Yaul for all the help, direction, and suggestions!

not wanting to start a new thread just for this so......

Can anyone tell me the final drive or axle gear ratios for a 06 Auto 4x4?

I may be able to pick one up in the next day or so....if it don't get sold out from under me whilst I'm trying to figure out it's ratio.

Rumor has it that after 03 when the Auto went to 5 speed over the 4speed, teh axle gears changed from 5:13's to 4:30's.
Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks Yaul!

OTT Kicker 2 is the easiest way to make Toy axles work well, as you end up with fixed flange instead of slip yokes, and gain an underdrive.

But Kicker 3 lets you mate a Samurai T-Case. The ONLY T-Case (and I do mean only) that gives both high and low range reduction. This is less critical if you're using Toy axles, as you have some gearing options, but there's questions as to the reliability of going bigger than 5.29 diff gears in yota axles. The 1.4:1 High range reduction automatically corrects you to 35/37" tires.

That there is some damn good knowledge I wasn't in possession of!

{adds sami case to the list}
