Anybody know the factory warranty for 2001ish vitaras yrs/miles what it covers?! I got the car from my wife, who doesnt know or have anything about the vit?

you don't have a warranty unless you or the previous owner purchased the extended warranty from suzuki. the previous owner would likely have used that as a selling point.. on occasion people say suzuki offers them goodwill warranties on some of the front end parts....

When I recently bought my wife her new suz car it came with a 3yr 36,000 mile bumper to bumber/7yr 100,000 mile drive train warranty i didnt purchase any extra coverage, It just came with the car! Since she bought the vitara new in 2001 i wondered if it had some kinda deal like that?
I dont have any major problems with my zuk,but it would be cool to know it was still covered..

No. The longer drivetrain warranty started in '03.

The 7 yr 100K warranty started in aug. of 2002. I have it and the paperwork stating so. I think that they may have back dated it some but not to 2001. sorry
