Will the OME springs work with my Calmini 3" control arms? I need to get some new springs soon and was thinking about this settup. I have the Calmini springs w/ a 1" spacer now and my spacer is mushrooming out and causing sag.

I believe crikeymike is doing exactly this and has a nice setup ...
He'll have to chime in tho when he's back from vacation.

I'm having the same problem and was thinking the same thing. Mine is saging with a 1 1/2in spacer.

I have a 3" calmini lift that I just put in about two months ago, and I am just wondering why you guys are running a spring spacer? is it to get more lift or are the calmini springs starting to sag?

I have also done the Hagen widening mod. and it puts alot of stress on the springs.

" LOTS OF AIR TIME" doesn't help the coils either. They tend to sag after bottoming out a few times. Since there are no additional bump stops added to any of the lifts I know of, Calmini, OME, RRO, etc, the coils or shocks are the only limiting factor to the suspension. When the coils bottom out it does some damage to them. I've wasted a couple of sets that way. I actually went from OME coils to Calmini coils to get the STIFFER spring, while everyone else seems to want the softer OME's. With a winch bumper, winch, skid plates, and rock sliders it actually rides BETTER on the Calmini coils!

What is the "Hagen widening mod"? I too have problems with Calmini spring rate/ sag in the front end. Yes it's being used hard but not jumping it or adding much extra weight over the front end. Calmini said "NO" to stiffer springs. I installed 1" spring spacers but they are temp.Thats where Zukiworld comes in! Thanx

I removed the Calmini 3" front springs 2 weeks ago,(one had broke in the middle due to rust pits) I installed OME 962 + 1.25 spacers. The height is almost exactly the same as the Calmini springs. Now I'm wandering how long the rear will last before it breaks also ? Would the OEM 955 rear + spacers = the same height or do I need longer spacers ?

I already had the OME959 front coils, so i put those in with 1.25" spacers, and it's fine. I would prefer to have the 962's in there since they're taller. I have the calmini coils back in there at the moment, but i just need to get my hands on some new spacers that won't flare out real bad. I'll be putting in the 955 rears with spacers here soon and see what height i get. At least it will be as simple as changing out the spacer for the rear as it has plenty of room for adjustment. I'm expecting to need about a 1.5" spacer on top of those coils.
The reason everyone is having to use spacers on the calmini springs is because they sag after heavy use of a year or two, and in order to keep up the ground clearance, it's all you can do, except to swap out for new springs. The OME's are perfect because there are several options, but they're just not tall enough to give enough lift by themselves, so we use coil spacers on those then.
