How come so many Samurai's have a dent right in the center of the front of the hood? Mine has one and I've noticed a lot of other ones around town have them too.

It's wind blown.
The windshield falls down and smacks that point when the wind blows hard enough.......
what happened is probably, the hood wasn't secured down and while driving down the road, it popped up and smacks the windshield. Pop your hood, raise and let sit against the windshield. Perfect alignment.

Don't push your hood shut, drop it
so you don't put dents in the front

I thought my dent was unique! Of course probably some of the others on my Sammy are. I don't think this is the windblown dent. It's right in the center of the front of the hood. Right above the latch. It does kind of look like it could have been pressed into the hood when pushing on it to latch it. If only these old Sammy's could tell their story.
