Title: V6 Alternator pivot bolt -- WHAT IS IT??
Post by: beercheck on January 06, 2008, 10:40:50 AM
T-45 Torx?  I can't see it, and haven't been able to find anything in my toolbox that fits it.

I'm dealing specifically with an 02 XL-7 2.7.

Oh, and adding spring spacers is way easier than changing belts on this #$(%&|removethispart|@&, for those who are wondering.  It would have been easier if the Dayco belt from Advance wasn't just a hair to flippin' small, I suppose.

Bump.

Hasn't anybody successfully changed/tightened an alternator belt on the V6?

I haven't but you might have more luck posting in the XL-7 forum
