With any modifcation you can mount 33's
-
Sorry lol,
My mistake
That should have been "with out" any modifaction ..
that includes cutting fender wells etc
-
What year?
Probley 235/75x15 on 15x7s with Minor rubbing on bottom of front bumper (simple trim job and nobody would notice)
on stock rims, probley less trimming
-
Its a 97 and has the 16's stock since its a sport
& i dont want to trim out anything or let anything rub..
Just wanted to know as its hard to find a good deal on a tire with the stock size 215/65-16
as i want somthing with more aggressive tread than the current all seasons
-
Maybe a 225/70x16??
-
i have 30x9.5x15 on my stock tracker rims they havent rubbed yet and i had it flexed quite a bit
-
As I recall, mine are 225/70 16s and rub only slightly on the tightest turns. They haven't caused any problems in the over two years I have had them. I wouldn't hesitate to replace them with the same size. Calculating the diameter and width is easy from the size numbers if you want to fine tune your selection. I was looking for something a bit taller and narrower than stock when I chose those. As I remember, the exact size I wanted wasn't readily available.
-
Is that a popular size in 16inch?
225/70?
i saw that a 235/60 will work.. will a 235/70 work?
-
I had no problems finding 225/70 R16s. Mine came from Big O. I suspect 235/70s would rub a bit more than the 225s.

Its Not the fact i'm having a problem finding the original size, its the fact that odd sizes tend to run more dollars..
so i was hoping to find a popular size... what about a 225/75-16?

Sure, You can fit anything, How much lift do you have? and or, trim the hell out of the fenders.
Stock rims might work in the short term but 5.5" is to narrow for a 10.5 tire.
-
i don't know what i was thinking i ment 31x10.50 15 on stock susp. and no bodylift
-
Well since i have stock 16's since it's a sport and cant go down to 15's, any 15 inch comment dosent help
But thanks for trying..
-
Looks like i can get 4 general grabber AT2's shipped to me for about $350
from a site i stumbled upon, those should take care of me for all seasons and some off roading for a good wile..
+ thats keeping the stock size 215/65-16
Thats the best price i could find for anything like that..
If you know of a better price on a simiular tire in a size i could use just refer me that way,
as im not going to order them for another week or so..and that was a bit more than i wanted to spend..

I ran 235/70R16 on mine when it stock. 225/75R16's will also work but may or may not depending on brand. A small lift or some bumpstop spacers would deal with that.
