After a couple months w/ my 3" body lift and 2" coil spacers I have a couple of concern hopefully you fellows can help me out with.
1. W/ the 31" tires the truck is now a DOG, Before the tires this little tracker zipped around pretty well. I know if I re-gear it i'll get a large improvement, But I have no idea which one to get. I currently have a 3spd auto, and do not want to change it over to a manual tranny. What year/model/transmission tracker differential should I swap to?Will it be a major improvement?
2. I originally wanted to lift my tracker so I would be able to trail it and also drive it daily. But after lifting it all I can use it for is trailing, as when Im on the road the truck is all over the place on the road. I touch the steering wheel and the truck changes 3 lanes and is sort of wobbly. What can I do to make this a little more bearable?
Other then those 2 concerns I love the truck w/ the lift. Its so aggressive, I get compliments everywhere and she does PHENOMENAL offroad.
TRAIL ON!

1. You want the gears from a Manual Tracker. The Manual's had 5.12 gears in them, and if you get the diffs from a 90-95 or 96 and up they should bolt straight in. Otherwise you will need to swap your front sidegears. If you do a search someone had a full matrix on the gearing options for the various models/years.
2. Your front end needs to be realigned. With the front end lifted your camber is now off on your front end, making it twitchy. I need to do this on mine, but with only a 3/4" spacer on the front it isn't near as bad. :)

Like Drone637 says, front end alignment if you haven't already done it. Could alse be a combination of a lot of little problems. Have you got strut spacers and longer shocks? How much suspension sag do you have? What tyre pressures are you running? Are your struts and springs good? bearings all good?

it sounds like an alignment issue, and maybe your tires arent 100% dead nuts on for the balancing....when i lifted my tracker each time the ride to the alignment machine |removethispart|@ my buddies college was kinda crazy...it was all over, but it didnt wobble....but maybe that could also be tie rods or ball joints...i also had a issue with wobble in my front end, and whoever worked on the thing before i bought it didnt tighten down the locknut on the wheel bearing, so my front drivers side tire wobbled all around on the spindle....my best advice for ya is to jack the front end up and give the tires a kick to see if anything is loose....if there is, i like to use a hammer to hit the tire while i grab onto the tie rod ends/balljoint, etc...get that fixed, then get it aligned....
