okay hi everyone i am new to the zukiworld and new to suzki's. i currently got a 1998 suzuki sidekick my mom gave me, 1.6l. 16 valve, 4 speed automatic. 4x4, with low, high, and nuteral and 2wd, with low and 2nd for the AT. rear indepednt single axel, with the standard suzuki front axel, indepent. just bought new fog/offraod baja lights. as really good torque and accel, jst speed and hills with ppl in side, folidng back seat,anyways. i was just curoius from other poiunt of views if this a good year and if it would be worth puting money into for suspension, and body lifts. and what recondmondations, love point of viewsm idea's, pictures of other suzukis for idea, thnx! :)

Build it, I think that's the last year you can have fun with them, after that year they went
to unibody and crap like that.

 The Suzuki's didn't go unibody until the new body style that is out now. It's been out for like 2 or 3 years now? The Vitara's came out in 99 and were still body on frame. They went independent rear suspension, got bigger, got uglier, and went unibody all at the same time.

It is definitely worth the money to lift and play with the Sidekicks. You can lift it with coil spacers for about $120 total. If you want spacers let me know at: hoepkers|removethispart|@charter.net. I make and sell all sizes from 1"-2.5" if needed. WELCOME and hope to see many posts from you.

I definitely recommend you wheel it stock first for a while so that as you make improvements, you'll be able to see why you needed to do it.  The OME lift is great for a bit of lift and ride quality.  Coil spacers are a nice cheap alternative.

My 2 favorite things in these is lift and lockers, with some good tires.  That will get you going everywhere.

ya i am noticing that since i been wheeling for bout myabe 7 months that everyhting looks cool, but really starting to noticed what i should get instead what i want to get. reallly good advice, thanks. and too everyone one else who is helping thanls alot! :)
