I have a stock geo tracker 1992 tintop, im currently running P205/75R15. its the stock rims with some new weak looking tires. they have a little white wall and i would really like to replace them with somthing more bulky!
any one know whats the largest size i can go on a stock rim? ;D
-
i wouldn't go any wider than a 9.50 .. i would think as tall as you want depending on lift..... stock height?
-
yeah, this is a completely bone stock tracker :P just something in the mean time to make it look like it has some hottness! 8)
-
i'm runnin 235/75/15s and with it stock height they barely clear. but they cleared on my stockies. i'de go 235/75/15 with some good grips they look tough
-
that sounds good! ;D
-
go to the galleries and go to action shots and the camo one at the very top is mine.. those are 235/75/15's but not stock rims.... those wheels rub stockies dont.
-
dude! those look nice! thats the size im looking for! im trying to get a pic up of my stock tintop! how do i do this?
-

-
you gotta get rid of the white walls huh?
-
yeah dude! >:( they make it look like a granny ride!
-
whats your location?
-
mine had white walls when i got it i sprayed em flat black with a rattle can
-
im out in huntington california ::) i need to find me some new kicks for this ride! everything else is clean!
-
yeah you got a walmart? i got relatives in roseville
-
yeah, we got plenty of walemarts around here! as a matter of fact, 2 weekends ago, chp forced us to buy chains from them because we had to add least carry chains in the car to head up the mountian to go snowboarding! it killed the day because traffic was all built up by the time we got picked up are chains at wallmart....so we ended up snowboarding going home and snowbarding the next morning! lol
your cousin can hook it up with some tires?
-
no walmart has a tire brand is super sport they are called all terrains but they clean out better than mt's. and they are freakin cheap..... like $65 here.
-
forreals????!! dude, i gotta check those out! is that what you have on your ride?
-
no they were out of those and i'm a gotta have it now kinda guy so i got different ones. mine are hurcules or sumethin
-
The problem with Walmart is they refused to put anythig bigger than a 205 on my Tracker, because that's what "their book" says. I went across the street to NTB and bought a set of Dunlop 225's. Should have gone 235.
-
forreal? hmmm...you think the employees were just screwin with you? ill check it out when i get some time over the weekend. you know, im trying to find the brand super sport but all i see is Uniroyal all terrain
-
jack your trak up and take your wheels off... if they don't know what there on they don't argue.
-
haha! thats true kountry ! i guess i will have to try that!
-
they don't argue with me..... i have the corporate office number in my cell
-
i dont see them on the site either..... wtf
-

-

-
those yoko's where bad ass.....

would anyone pose opposition to mounting a 10.50 tire on a stock rim...? I am buying a set of Super Swamper 34/10.50 LTB's and it would save me about 300 bucks to not have to buy rims for them. Would you still only stick with 9.50's? Thanks for the help!!
-
Here I'm running 32x12.50's on Stock sammy rims 15x5.5
(http://www.reachone.com/bashams/Suzuki/Zuki/ZukiLiftedRight.jpg)
Rubbed really bad at full turn
You should be fine with a 10.50 on a stock rim may rub a little a 34x9.50 may still rub.
-
The only problem you will run into is if you pop a bead off your tire. With that thin of a rim sometimes it is a real pain to get the tires to seal back up. :)
-
thats what i am worried about with going that big of a tire, what if it pop out! im screwed!
-
Just carry a spare. Then your covered. :)
-
I ran them around at 0 psi and did circles and couldn't get them to bust a bead.
but yeah if they did it would be a real pain in the rear.
-
bashzuk, thanks for the pic and info! it helps. for now i'll just mount the tires on my stockera, and get some 15x8's later ;D
