Title: Vacuum routing
Post by: biker on June 12, 2005, 06:08:58 PM
I just swapped an auto into my 91 Tracker in place of a tired 5 speed. I'm unable to find a place to hookup the hose off the tranny modulator on the intake. I Tee'd it into the line for the canister where it connects just under the throttle body as a temp fix.  Does anyone have the FSM that could lookup where it is supposed to go or if someone has a factory auto truck that wouldn't mind taking a peek for me.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer :)

The stock location is a port at the back of
the intake, it's on the #4 intake runner,
and not far from the throttle opener cam.

The Trans had a small can shaped fitting,
about 3/4-7/8 of an inch round, with a snout
sticking out of the end, I think this is a check
valve, tho I don't know what for, perhaps a filter ?

Where you have the vacuume hose routed
now should be fine, unless you want it to look
bone stock

Thanks Wild, looks are not a big deal just after function. It seems to shift fine so I'll leave it as is for now.
