I'm looking into building a new front center section. I would like to have it in the center of the veh. so that I can run longer front shafts. To be able to run my steel 3rd member would be great. Does anybody have any ideas.
Thanks kevin

You'll have to either raise the engine, or lower the cross member that supports the front diff in order to center it. The oil pan of the engine will be in the way.
Mike Hagen and his crew have done 9" diff's in the front, but I don't know how.

There is a story about Mike Hagen's mod on the website somewhere. It's quite complex and involved a one-off Calmini Anvil front diff housing that was in the center instead of offset.
