Just wondering who has 1999 or new Tracker's or Vitara's here?

I DO! I DO!  ;D

Only  have a couple "mods" though.
1. Altezza taillights  :)
2. Cheap pair of foglights that one blewup the day after I installed them >:(
3. Reverse Glow gauges :D
4. Took the grey door bumpers off(they were falling off anyways) ::)
5. An older Pioneer radio  :-/
6. Color matched factory hardtop  :D

Things I need soon
1. New tires. Looking at going with 225-70-15 A/T
2. Exhaust-cause mine is starting to fall apart and my bro-in-law tore the tailpipe (from the front of the rear bumper back)off. And the heatsheild on the cat is rattleing BAD :-[ >:(.

i have a 99 tracker 2door.i jus put a hard top and westin safari bar in front.next will be 2.5 calmini lift and rro 2 block and 1 coil spacer lift.last will be 31 bigfoot xt's on black rock krawlers.

I am only posting this here because I cannot figure out how to do my own post???? Where is that link, and or option? ???

 
Why is it that the 1999-2004 Chevy tracker has such limited after market options for parts and accessories? I searched high and low for the Convertible canopy retainers that fasten to the frame, that holds the convertible top on. I finally found it on a Suzuki OEM web site for the Vitara. And it was not cheap but certainly cheaper than the very same GM parts. And not all of the parts could be found though GM. I would also love to get a Hard Sport Top for my Tracker but of course none that are available will fit the 1999-2004 model Tracker or Vitara. Nor will any of the Duster covers or Windjammers. My only option is to buy a 1,200 complete hard top. UGGGGGG please tell me I am not the only pitiful soul going through this!  Plus I have a vibration problem in Idel and really bad in reverse I cannot figure out , all mountings are fine! any suggestions?

^^^^What he said^^^^^.. and... whenever you cant find something for any Suzuki you have, call Hawk Strictly Suzuki at 1-888-SAMURAI..... They will know if it's available and if it is, they probably have it or can get it for you (new and used)

I'd start with spark plugs and wires on this one.

I have a 99 Vitara and yes you are right. They don't seem to have quite as many available extra do-dads as some of their counterparts. But alot of the aftermarket items mentioned previously are available. I have seen all of the items but was not interested in them for my rig. Unfortunitly I did not take note of each supplier. Keep looking and keep posting and folks will be glad to help you spend your $$$$$...  ;D
