and this is the big one, i wan2 run chopped doors this summer and need to know how to cut them cause i dont like seeing the door out lines, so does anyone have a cool way of fabbing sum cut rally doors?
thanx guys and gals

You will be fine using low to pull the ski's out, the thing you dont want to do is 4wd on dry pavement turning alot. Short pulls like that will be fine.
As the doors are concerned.... Do a search for "Half Doors". there are a few people that have made them and look good. A search should bring up the old posts.

ive heard that it could mess up the hubs, but im not really sure, the 4x4 instructions on the sun visor say not to do that and it also says not to do that in the factory manual as well....

i've had four wheel drives since i was 12..... i've ran mine like that to put the boat in the river..... and i've never had a single problem...... just my input.

I have done the same thing for years. I have never had a problem dragging a boat out of the water using just 4 low without the hubs. You aren't going that far or that fast. If you forgot about it and drove off then I am sure that you would cause some damage. Other than that you should be fine.
