Title: Leaf springs

Is there a difference between the 2wd and 4wd samurai leaf springs or not? Reason im asking a had a 2wd and converted it to a 4wd now i here a popping sound coming from the rear leaf or do i just need to saturate with grease wrap with a rag to lube them please help. :(
