Title: exhaust

i am getting a new exhaust on my 1990 8v tracker tuesday. i going to put a glass pack on.  Now the ? i have is should i run it out the back or out infront of the rear wheel

I would advise against the glasspack, when they get broken in, they are LOUD LOUD, and not a good loud, very annoying loud.

Go behind the axle, otherwise you almost always have to deal with the fumes, no good!

Good point on the fumes, run it straight out the back. It won't cost much more than having it exit in front of the tire and the sound and fumes will not be so bothersome.

I just bought an 89 sidekick with a glasspack,  the first thing I did was replace it because it was too loud.  Much nicer with a stock muffler.
