Title: front main leaking oil on sammi 1.3

has any body heard of a reddi sleeve or a speedi sleeve to help seal front main oil seal and if so who might sell them. I know my 1.3 has lots of miles left and i dont want to tear the engine down to fix it....appreciate any help here

I've heard that if you score hole where that seal goes in or the shaft, you could have leaks there that are hard to fix. I also heard you could put a bushing in there if you score the hole and go with a smaller seal maybe. Is your seal bad or is the hole scored or the crank scored. Why don't you just do a t belt job and replace the seal? I guess the seal for the oil pump could be leaking. I just snugged mine up since it looked like it might have been leaking. I haven't seen any oil leaks since I changed the seals and snugged the oil pump bolts.  It's not too hard of a job.
