I have a 1990 Sami that was sitting for a couple years. I had to replace the pump, twice. Now that we have a working pump and there are no leaks and she runs great, the tank will only accept half a tank of gas when I try to fill it up. When it gets to be about half full, it starts to spit out where the nozzle is.

Zoo,
I would guess that your fuel gauge is reading half when the tank is actually full.

Check the air vent for the tank, maybe it's block!!

I have a Tracker with the same promblem right now. Does anyone know if the tank vent is that line that coes up the filler tube or if it is part of the white plastic box on top of the tank?

Is the line that goes up with the filler tube.

How would you check to see if the air line is blocked?

Pull it off and remove your gas cap. you should be able to blow into it.
