Title: help for suspension, and axels and related stuff
Post by: johnjx on February 19, 2008, 07:04:10 PM
so rite now i am running everything stock with 31's and yes i am rubbin. i was thinking about getting 2'' coil spacers, then get mercury shocks/struts. after i get more money i was just curoius..

Axels, i have IFS, and i was curoius how much suspension lift can they handle with wheel allignment and the stress of the cv's?would it be better to get solid axels?

extension, what extensions am i looking for when i get suspension lift?4.5-6 inch?or just a 3''?

Don't go any higher than 2" of lift without doing some sort of diff drop. CV's just aren't meant to go past that, especially when you consider you need some downtravel as well.

If you do a 2" lift, just flip your strut mount and you should have enough downtravel to avoid topping out.

ya i was really thinking on just 2" coil spacers, flip my front struts, and get new shocks for the 2" down travel. i dont do rocks. just on trials time to time. so that should be good then rite?
