Ok so my freind told me that you can only have so big of tire befor your bearings cant tack the stress any more and they wear out super fast.So the question is that I have a 94 2door tracker with the 1.6l in it and i just put a 1" 1/2" spring spacer lift on it and i put some 31 x 10.50 15LT BFGoodrich A/t on it. so are my bearings going to poop out on me or am i ok for awhile?? ???

Not sure what bearings you are referring to but you should be good, yes.

Wheel bearings can wear out differently with much larger tires, but 31's aren't big enough to affect them too bad. Stock bearings last a very long time with stock sized tires, but with oversized tires, they won't last as long anymore. I had a sami with 33's and the rear wheel bearings did give me some problems. That was before i found out the housing was slightly bent, causing the bearings to run at an off-angle.

I have about five years on my sammie front bearings going through water and mud and my rear bearings get about two years on them and there gone, the rear brakes seem to take the worst of it all.

Your friend is feeding you old wives tails. I have had 32" Swampers on my Sami for over 10 yr's and when I rebuilt the front end when I added the 5.12's, the front bearings looked like they did not need replacing.
