Title: 1997 1.6 16v kickintermittent no spark

Im working on a 97 sidekick 1.6 16v 2w drive
runs great for a while 15 min or so then backfires and dies
the engine will turn over no fire at spark plug wires
was stranded on side of the road
then started up and ran about 5 min died again
same thing no fire.
is this ecm problem ? or the dizzy?

THANKS ROSS HAVE U SEEN LINK TO DUDE ON E BAY THAT REBUILDS SUZUKI ECM S ?
OR DO U HAVE IT ? IF SO COULD U POST IT FOR ME
 I CAN'T FIND IT TANKS AGAIN

We had Gary at PETROWORKS do one for a friend.  did a great job., don't remember the cost
