Title: Rear axle upgrade?
Post by: BIG DOG on March 02, 2008, 05:10:10 PM
When you guys upgrade the rear axles in a sidekick/tracker You would be deleteing the rear speed sensor for the rearend.Without this sensor won't the abs brake light come on?I have the brake light on on my rig ...brakes seem to work fine !! If I pull up the brake lever the light will get slightly brighter.I have pulled all the sensors except the rear on the dif and the whole module..Is there a way to cheat the rear sensor ? What else should I look for I'd like to get the light out but cheaply as like I said the brakes seem to work just fine.
Thanks!

This has come up before. IIRC the solution is to unplug/remove the ABS computer.
