Title: Engine Management Light

I have a UK Spec 2003 5dr Manual 2 ltr petrol GV.
The engine management light is illuminated on the dash for no apparent reason. Tried disconnecting and re-connecting the battery but still on. Pls can anyone help.

Codes that are tripped more then 3 times keep the light on. What area of the world u in ? Cold screws up the EGR valves alot in cold climates

On the '98 UK spec GV ( so maybe also on yours) you can read the codes by linking two pins in the diagnostic connector - do a search to find the details; I think it's been covered before.
