Wow, a Norwegian, cool.  How popular are Suzukis in Norway?  Any cool new Norwegian Black Metal bands too look out for?  ;D

Lockers are a little chirpy
on the tires under throttle
on the corners, but you will
soon learn how to drive with
it so it is not even noticeable
The action will cause the tires to
break loose easily on slippery roads,
so drive easy on the throttle in the
snow

That snow on the 10 freeway is a bear somtimes ;D
-
It's a Big Bear on the 30 too ;)

I used to race porsches up that road with my stang ;D I used to live in big bear,I drove a truck with limited slip up there because the wife drove it also, if it was just me I would of put in a loc-rite detroit type for a more positive lock up and just learned to drive with it, the limited did act like a spool on ice but would slip in mud or wet snow so my next truck got the loc-rite, it makes a loud bang when unloading in rocks but you kinda get used to it(I still get out and look for parts laying on the ground)but is better than welded or spool for the road!

I used to love running my
Scirocco up that road, at
like 70-90 MPH :o I don't think
my Kick can take the corners
like that, but a Cannon Ball
run style Mentone to Big Bear
was my idea of a good time
;D
-
try it at 120-130 mph, I left the road a couple of times ;D got smacked by the wife each time, was beating a turbo charged porsch, allready beat the american cars at the bottom, the porsch had better sys. but the fbi stang had way more h.p. too bad they didn't have more passing lanes and longer, sold it to a cop buddy of mine he had to sell it, too fast for him 8)

I will say lockers eat tires on pavement. my tires are wearing bout 45% faster with the locker.

zuki is quit popular in norway, but only the sj series an samurai`s, tracker/vitara is to much expensive for heavy offroading, but in the future i think more people would start rigging them, a -91 mod tracker cost about 10.000$ in norway now..
about the heavy band i not so intresting in them, but i actually have got in school with the lead vocal in dimmuborgir, sagrath ore what he calls, his real name is Stian Thoresen. The hole bunch is from my area..
Thanks wildgoody for answers, i have ordret powertrax locker and hope i be satisfied..

WHAT THE F*CK?! YOU WENT TO SCHOOL WITH Shagrath!? WOW that is sooo cool! I friggin LOVE Dimmu Borgir, they are very popular in the Heavy Metal community in North America.
Well my  Northern friend, I must say your Vitara is VERY nice! :o  Nice winch and cool colour, white rules!  ;D
-
I did the Sweden Off Road Tour in 2002, only saw 2 other Vitaras. Some nicely prepared SJs though.
-
How is that winch mounted to your front end?
More pics, that is a fabolous tracker.
Where did you get the safari rack?
-
Maestro,
Nice Vitara 8) I believe that you will like your locker. I could not imagine owning a 4x4 that did not have them. Wild is wise in the way of the locker ;) A little practice and you will not even notice it's back there.
