Title: tracker code p0740

  I have a 98 tracker that has code P0740,  TCC malfunction.  anyone know if this is a fairly common
issue,  or what may be the main cause.  Also was wondering if this was a difficult or expensive fix. 
any help would be great.

It's a Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfuction. Not sure; hasn't popped up on my 96 Tracker yet. I'm sure somebody here will know.  :-\
