Post by: tracker8v4x4 on March 17, 2008, 01:46:42 PM
will 31x10.5x15 mount on stock tracker rims?

will they clear my front bumper or will i have to trim it?

will they fit without coil spacers? how much will it take till they rub?

and will the steering stops have to be adjusted?

Yes, but they will buldge out signifigantly and don't expect to corner hard or you could roll  it right off the bead.

Without lift, no they wont clear.

Without some kind of lift, be it coil spacers or body lift, they will rub a lot.

Yes, you will probably have to adjust the steering stops even after you lift it enough to clear.

To fit 31-9.50x15's on my tracker, I used 1.5" coil spacers up front, 2" coil spacers in the back and a 2" body lift and I still had to trim a little and beat back the pinch weld at the back of the front wheelwell to get them to clear. This was with them mounted on 15x8" rims with 3.75" of backspacing. Now the same tires are mounted on stock sammy wagon wheels that are 15x5.5" with around 4" of backspacing. The sammy wagons are the same dimensions as the stock Tracker wheels, but with 1/2" less backspacing. At one point I had 31-10.50x15 BFG AT's mounted on the sammy wagons on my Tracker and they buldged a bit and I had to run lower pressure than I would have liked to get the tread area to flatten out because of the skinny rims. With the lift, trimming and pounding I had done previously, they just cleared.

235's would be your best bet if you dont want to lift it...they work out excellent on the stock wheels also

You should be able to mount a 33x12.5 with that much lift!
