Title: Carbs? 1.3 86 samurai

when talking carbs with my stock car racing buddy  he said he hated weber carbs for chicago because with the temp. changes the "mounting plate?" or whatever warps causing air leaks and other problems.
He also talked about putting a QuadraJet on my 1.3 samurai. has anyone done this?

Since I'm a motorcycle mechanic I like the idea of putting a bank of motorcycle carbs on it. I know what to do with those! I've seen the manifold adapter kits. looks sweet and familiar.
