Title: flipping stock alloy rims?
Post by: Chief on October 18, 2004, 01:46:13 PM
By flipping I mean taking the side that normally faces outwards, and turning the wheel around so the side that normally faces the rotor, is facing out.

I'll need to mill the mounting surface flat, since it is raised, but can this be done? Taking rough measurments, it looks to be less then 2" of backspaing can be achieved!

should be possible since you can do this with a quad, however this will probably put more stress on parts like it does with a quad. You may be able to widen the stance of your zuk but it is worth all the $$ in repairs?

did that to my LJ but the rims are alot different, also my gfs running some 31" interco trxus mts, on stock sami rims, i found the stock tracker rims could not be inverted unless u modify them a bit, and even then there horribly ugly, just find a set of sami rims, they work fine both ways and look good, especailly with a nice set of 31's ;D
