Title: problems after new carb install

put on new carb, changed fuel filter connected all vac hoses it ran great for 5 min, then it wouldnt even go up the street without dying. in neutral its revs up ok when u put it in gear and try to go it dies at about 15 mph. help!!!!

Sounds like fuel starvation to me.  Seeing you had the carb off I suppose it could be a vacuum leak.

Take a propane bottle, put a hose on it, start the engine and apply propane to the joints that could possibly leak, the propane will make the engine rev up if you put it near a leak.

Im more leaning to the fuel starvation cause...  but seeing you messed with it...
