Title: Manufacturer of Samurai 5 speed tranny?

 ???Does any one know which company manufactured the samurai's transmission? I've looked all over the internet for it but nothing and no one will tell me, and while I'm at it who made the transfer case?
Any information will be appreciated.

Suzuki? I don't see any reason why they wouldn't make their own.

Yeah  your probably right . I thought at first that it might be made by Aisin but I looked at a list of transmissions that they had made for vehicles and the samurai wasn't on it.
