I dunno if this is the right forum, but it could get lost in the sauce elsewhere.
EMPI 4340 Birfs and shafts are on ebay now for $399 plus $25 shipping. (Ouch! Makes the $800 I spent at TT just feel so wrong).
Here's the link.

The ad says "group discount", which makes meez think about picking up another set.
Anyone interested? I don't even know how we could do the logistics on this.

Probably just send them a message and see how many we need to buy to get a discount.
It seems a remarkably good deal for someone who only has 34 positive reviews on the account... I wonder if these are like the fake Toyota shafts you see on E-Bay all the time.

I remember when this ebay was first posted, a member here mentioned it. It falsely stated it can be use with stock side gears. They have since changed it. I am wary about new products from new vendors that do not know their own product. This guy is really close to Trail Tough in Oregon, is he in any way getting the same product from him or his vendors?

This axle looks just like spidertrax's.... But the spidertrax's website says $499.....

They don't look necked down like the Spidertrax but it may just be the pic.

I had to recheck the picture, I think you're probably right. I just assumed because the birfield looks just like spidertrax's.... if this is a copy cat work, damn they sure had me fooled. lol

Sometimes it is worth it to spend a little bit extra and go with a known company. Especially if you are worried about breaking them, you know you can just call the company up and get a replacement.
Not to mention, then you are supporting the companies that help support this sight. :)
