Title: Did Tin Top JX model samurai's come w/ a factory sunroof as an option????
Post by: MiniFJ on April 20, 2008, 04:50:23 PM
I just picked up a 87 tin top w/ a/c and all the JX model options but it has a sunroof? Looks factory, inside and outside.  I've never seen a "factory" sunroof on a samurai before but the guy I got it from said it was factory. Any help would be great.

Suzuki, like many car manufacturers, never had a factory sunroof. The rare factory installed sunroofs on vehicles were normally power and retracted into the headliner or above the rear portion of roof depending on room.
So, to answer your question, it isn't factory. It was either dealer installed or some accessory shop installed it.
