Im probably going to have to change my seat eventually and Im sure people have changed theirs.
Which seats will bolt on/best fit? (which car? make/model. no/little fabbing required)
Hopefully this list will benefit people in the future too.

i'll start the list
1. nothing
hehe
you'll have to modify just apout any seat out there because of the way the kick seats are made
you might be able to rig something up with some square tube, but i'm not sure

samauri's are an easy mod.
but.........
trackicks have funkey seats that have a short bracket(tword the tunnel) and a long bracket(tword the door) that the rails(whitch the seats slide upon)bolt to. these brackets are welded into the framework of the seat.
most seats have a flat bottom that the rails bolt on to(the rails will bolt onto the seat on the exact same plane) them any slopes in the floor pan are made up by the sheet metal brackets that the seat(actually the seat rail bolts too)
hope that helps, cuz it sounds very confusing ???
the best way to understand it is to remove the 12 mm bolts that hold it in and flip it over(nothing like first hand experience)

You can bolt in X-90, 2 and 4 door kick seats, but the X-90 seats sit 2" lower than the Track/kick seats. Like said above, the sliders are the problem. The outside rails sit on the floor and the inside rails sit on the tranny hump, about 4" higher than the outside rails. It is actually the bottom seat pan that creates the difference, so just about anything else would have to be custom modified/combined with the stock lower seat pan to mount like stock...

i guess it would be easier to fab the pieces to bring the seat level
that way you can put whatever

If you just unbolt the actual seat from rails, you can put almost any seat that will physically fit, just bolt or weld the seat to the trackick slider rails. I've wanted to put in a set of early(90/91) Civic Si seats, or Integra GSR seats in mine, I had a civic si before, and they were quite comfy, lots of side support. I just haven't found a set in okay shape for a worthy price.
