Title: 4x4 stuck in low

hi everyone,, i have an 89 sidekick 4x4, 5speed thats stuck in 4 low the link is broken and i cant shift it from the shifter.. how can i get it back into 2 hi till i can afford to get it fixed

Have you pulled the shifter lever out and tried shifting the forks?
