That is the same one that will illuminate when the master is low on fluid. As for the left turn, ......huh, wierd :-/

Make sure your wheel bearings are tight/not shot. My brake light started coming on while turning/braking when my bearings were going out.

At least you're not a NASCAR driver, 3 hours of left turns would make you really frustrated.

are you losing fluid from the master cylinder as i had the same thing. turned out it was low on fluid as the o ring oil seal on the master cylinder into the brake assister (servo) was naff and the fluid was being sucked into the brake servo (assister )sp.
i removed the fluid from the inside of the drum and a couple of months later this packed up as well ..... aaaaaaagghhhhhhh :-/

anyway .. it was turning that caused the fluid in the master cylinder to move and trip the sensor

I had the same thing happen, but with both left and right turns. It was because my brake fluid was low. I was leaking out of a rear wheel cylinder.

My tarcker did that...I just drove it :P. But most likely it's the master brk cilnder.

Hmm...I just put new bearings in and mine lights on.  Must mean I did it right, like a gold star or something. ::)

Mine has a leaky cilinder in the rear too, but not too bad, yet.... But when it has leaked enough fluid that light will come on when turning because the sensor will be think there's not enough fluid left. With mine it also starts in left turns and if it has leaked enough it will also do it on right turns.
So your brake fluid level is low. Could be a cilinder leaking or something like it.

Beware when you re-fill the master brake cylinder. Most of the time, it represents wear on the pads. As the pads wear there needs to be more fluid in the caliper. Check your pads. I just had to do the front pads on my -7 (44k miles). The light would be intermitent at times, then a started to hear the indicator squeal. Took all of 10 minutes each to swap in new pads up front.
