I am looking at the 5" bolt on spoa from rocky-road. Its on sale on ebay for 469... I'm looking to raise my sammy a bit more but didn't know if anyone knew if this was a good kit or not. Also could I still use my 30x9.50 and it still look decent? Right now i'm 3" spua and don't get enough articulation to wheel without the wheels coming off the ground and thats not good in a dd! If anyone has the same amount of lift and can show me, or if someone can tell me if a spoa and 4.16 gears is bad for a dd i would really appreciate it.

The lift should work good.Im running the cal mini spoa on my 86.Couple of my club members run your lift with no issues. My club is Gad-Zuks. Run the 4.16 gears in your daily. Im running 6.50 in mine with 32 swappers know issuse. 30 might not fill the wheel wells as much as 31s. Good luck with your ride.

I appreciate it. Ive been talking to rock-road and I'll start taking pictures as soon as I begin the build!

not a bad kit to run , i have the rocky rd. spoa 8" weld on and i run 33's with little trimming. Just make sure all the parts are there , before you start.

how bad do the 33's bog down your power? 1.3 can only handle so large and i want to make sure that a new engine is a later mod

The zuk seems to do "ok" with the 33's. its not a speed deamon, but it goes. I wouldnt want to drive it a long distance.fine for around town . I have a headman header and new exhaust, cat, magnaflow muffler. W/ weber carb and air intake . 6.4:1 t-case. stock gears.
It is not my daily driver, but i do at times drive it to work for fun. I can do 65 with the wind pushing me.so about 55-60 mph on the hwy. Put in want/need a 8v tracker engine!
