Title: zuktoy axles under truck
Post by: wezzlegod on April 27, 2008, 08:32:17 PM
okay the truck sits on its wheels.I've got the axles installed and it's a roller for now.  I only have to run the new fuel lines and brake lines and measures for the drive shafts and put it on the forklift and measure for the shocks.  I have taken some pictures of the suspension to show you my installation.  I have made several posts of this project over the last two years.  If you haven't read them.  You might want to.  Just do a search of zuktoy.this is bad on ongoing project, and it's finally all most done.  In some of my last posts, someone said I would have problems with the steering.  If you look at the pictures.  You will see how I solved the problem instead of a one-piece steering system I've use, a two-piece, so the steering rod, mimics the upper track bar.here are the pics

I'd love to see better pics of the front also. What is the purpose of 2 piece steering?

What is the purpose of 2 piece steering?
I'm going to guess that with the short track bar it maybe to help out with bump steer or steering loss at full turn. keep up the good work
